Two Witnesses Report Octahedron-Shaped Objects Over Separate US Locations

Unverified witness accounts submitted to the National UFO Reporting Center

The National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) has received two separate reports of octahedron-shaped objects—described as eight-sided "double pyramids"—in what investigators are cataloging as unusual configurations for 2025.

Octahedrons remain rare in UAP sighting reports. NUFORC data shows the most common shapes reported are orbs, triangles, and circular or disk-shaped objects. These geometric formations stand apart.

The first report was filed last month, according to NUFORC. The second arrived more recently. Both witnesses described similar geometric structures, though specific details on location, duration, time of day, and witness observations remain limited in available summaries.

No corroborating details—radar data, multiple witnesses, or official agency statements—have been disclosed for either sighting at this time.

NUFORC, founded in 1994 by Peter Davenport, maintains the largest civilian database of UFO reports in North America. The center does not investigate claims or verify accounts; it logs and archives witness testimonies as submitted.

The octahedron shape has appeared in historical UAP reports but remains statistically uncommon. In contrast, triangular craft dominate US sightings, while orbs are reported globally with consistent frequency.

Without additional witness accounts, instrumental data, or official acknowledgment, these reports remain anecdotal. The geometric precision described by witnesses—if accurate—raises questions about whether observers were identifying known aircraft, optical phenomena, or something else entirely.

NUFORC continues accepting reports. Anyone with sighting information can submit directly to the center's database.
